When Guilt Meets Grace
Teaching:
Unconfessed sins harden the heart.
Admitting sins is the first step to having a pure heart.
The shadow of guilt disappears in the light of grace.
Application:
Pray for a pure heart.
Be courageous enough to say sorry.
Present your guilt before the cross of Christ.
Discussion:
Why should we confess committing sins as soon as possible?
Prayer:
Father, thank You for Your grace displayed on the cross. My sins and shame were already crucified in the body of Christ as He was hanging there on the cross. He bore my sins. All of them were nailed and punished on the cross. Thank You for Your enormous love and grace. I am forgiven. I am accepted in the Beloved. I am cleansed by the blood of Christ. I became pure and holy in Your eyes. Thank You! I receive Your mercy in the name of Jesus Christ, amen!
