Why should we tremble whenever we read God’s Word?
Prayer:
Lord, forgive me for treating You as less than who You really are. Forgive me for reading Your Word just like ordinary literature. Forgive me for not praying before reading the Bible. From now on, let me approach Your presence and Your Word with utmost respect. Let me ask for forgiveness and cleansing whenever I commune with You. Father, thank You, and I praise You because of the Lord Jesus Christ whose blood cleanses me from sins, whose perfection covered my sinfulness. I can always approach You with the righteousness of Jesus. In His holy Name, I come to You. Amen!
