The Righteous Shall Live by Faith

Put our faith in Jesus and be considered righteous.

Why does the Bible teach that the righteous shall live by faith?
Prayer:
Father, my sins are as red as scarlet but the blood of Jesus made me as white as snow. Lord, thank You for Your mercy and grace. I praise You because You made the forgiveness of sins possible through the death of Jesus on the cross. Lord, help me grow in faith and trust in the finished work of Christ on the cross. I am forgiven, cleansed, and justified by the power of the blood of Jesus. I am now a child of God who shall live by faith in Jesus. I declare this truth in the precious name of Jesus Christ, amen!
