Suffering Can Break Us or Build Us

Suffering can break us apart from Christ or build us in Christ.
Jesus is the climax of the shadows of the Old Testament.
Jesus is the fulfillment of the promises in the Old Testament.
Application:
Use suffering to move closer to Jesus.
Cling to Jesus; finish the race; keep the faith.
Treasure Jesus despite our poverty and suffering.

Why growing in faith and trust in Jesus is our only and best option in the midst of suffering?
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, today, by the enablement of the Spirit, I choose to follow Jesus. There is no turning back. Jesus is my strength, my hope, my life, my Lord and Savior, my everything. Please enable me to cling to Jesus, finish the race, and keep the faith. It is my desire to treasure Jesus above all things and everyone else. May my suffering for the sake of Christ be glorifying to You. In the mighty Name of Jesus, I pray, amen.
