Practice Sacrificial Giving – Malachi Chapter 3

Practice Sacrificial Giving

Scripture: Malachi 3:10-11

Teaching:
Tithing is not a requirement for us today but it can be our personal commitment.
Tithing can be a starting point of giving.
Tithing can be a means of receiving God’s blessings.

Application:
Practice sacrificial giving not as a requirement but because we love God.
Use tithe as a starting point of giving.
Give generously and let God bless your source of income.

Discussion:
Why should we practice sacrificial giving as our expression of love for God?

Prayer:
Lord, I acknowledge that You are the Owner of everything. You have been generous to me and it is just right to give sacrificially and generously as a proper response for Your love for me. Lord, I pray that You will enable me to give more as I receive more from You. Please open the windows of heaven and pour out Your blessings upon me. I also pray that You will open the windows of my heart so that I may become a blessing to my church and the advancement of the gospel. I pray this in Jesus’ name… Amen!
