Jesus took our Sins upon Himself

Scripture: 2 Corinthians 5:21

Teaching:
God is both a loving Father and a righteous judge.
The gospel is about the greatest exchange between Jesus and sinners.
The gospel made us holy and righteous legally before God.

Application:
Serve God with full of gratitude.
Trust the finished work of Christ on the cross.
Live worthy of the gospel.

Discussion:
What is our proper response to what Jesus has accomplished on the cross?

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for the privilege of being Your child. Thank You for choosing to love me instead of letting me experience the punishment I deserve. Thank You for the good news that Jesus Christ made the greatest swap ever. He became sin and absorbed the wrath of God in order to save me and make me holy and righteous before You. Father, now let me serve You with my utmost expression of gratitude. In Jesus’ name, amen!
