Can We Abuse God’s Grace?
Teaching:
God’s grace cannot be abused.
God’s grace has crucified sin in our bodies.
God’s grace has set us free from the mastery of sin.
Application:
Do not attempt to abuse the grace of God.
Do not let sin reign over us by being quick to repent.
Offer ourselves as instrument of righteousness.
Discussion:
Why should we not attempt or even think of abusing the grace of God?
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your grace, mercy, and love. How can I abuse Your grace? You have been good to me; You have set me free. Sin no longer has mastery over me. Please guard my heart and mind so that I do not even attempt to continue sinning, knowing You will forgive. Accept my worship as I offer myself as Your instrument for righteousness. Please saturate me with Your Word. Make me holy. May Your grace continue to sanctify me through and through. I pray this in Jesus’ name, amen!
