Scripture: Habakkuk 2:3
Teaching:
God might seem slow or delayed.
God works according to his own schedule.
God fulfills his promises with certainty.
Application:
Trust God’s own timing.
Wait on God’s promises.
Hope while doing our best.
Discussion:
How can you practice hope while doing your best in your own situation?
Prayer:
Father in heaven, You are a good, merciful, and loving God. To You, I cry for help. Come to my aid. I believe that You have a vision and plan for my life and for my family. I trust in Your timing. I will patiently wait for Your appointed time. Please help me to continue to put my trust in You. Let me hope in You because those who hope in You will never be put to shame. Grant me patience and endurance as I faithfully do my best while waiting. I pray this in Jesus’ name, amen!
