The Spirit as our Guide- Isaiah Chapter 30

The Spirit as our Guide

Scripture: Isaiah 30:21-22

Teaching:
The Spirit teaches us God’s ways.
The Spirit tells us where to go.
The Spirit causes us to throw away our sins.

Application:
Study the Bible through the Spirit.
Follow the Spirit’s direction.
Throw away our sins like a menstrual cloth.

Discussion:
Why should we treat idols and sins like a menstrual cloth?

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for being my guide. Whether I turn to the right or to the left, my ears will always hear the voice of the Spirit telling me where to go. So Lord, give me an obedient heart that I may follow Your lead. Teach me to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit. Help me to treat idols and sins like menstrual cloths—something I need to throw away. In Jesus’ name, amen!
