Why do proud people fail and the humble succeed?
Prayer:
Lord, search my heart and my thoughts. Reveal my hidden pride. Rebuke me when I am stubborn. Correct me when I am wrong. Use godly people around me to guide me and lead me in Your direction. I admit that I do not see everything. I have many blind spots. There are things that people see that I do not see. So humble me, Lord! Let me seek godly advice. Guide me if there is any wrongdoing in me. Let me be humble enough to listen to godly counsel. I pray this in Jesus’ name, amen!
