God Does Whatever He Pleases

God has the highest authority.
God does whatever He pleases.

Why should we find comfort, peace, and contentment in God’s sovereignty?
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I believe that You have absolute power over all things. You do whatever You decide to do. Please help me to be content with whatever I receive from You. Your Word says, ‘A person can receive only what is given them from heaven’ (John 3:27). So Lord, teach me to be grateful for everything I have and help me glorify You with the things You have entrusted to me. I pray this in Jesus’ name, amen!
