The Gospel in the Old Testament
Teaching:
There is hope, purpose, and new life in Christ.
People in the Old Testament can only be saved through faith in the gospel of Christ.
Faith can only be proven true by actions.
Application:
Preach the gospel to our family and friends.
Prepare our loved ones for the day of judgment.
Prove your faith as genuine through good deeds.

How does our life’s testimony help people to believe in our message?
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, I praise You for allowing me to encounter Jesus, my Savior. He is the scarlet cord that covers me on the day of judgment. Forgive me whenever my life is not congruent with my message. Empower me to live worthy of the gospel of Christ so that I may powerfully proclaim Jesus to my family and friends. Let me die to myself so that Jesus may live in me. May the people around me see how You have changed me. May they see Jesus in me through my words and actions. Use me, Lord, for Your greater glory. I pray this in Jesus’ name, amen!
