Faith Turns Suffering into Privilege

Faith makes us do “crazy” things.
Faith helps us see the invisible.
Faith saves us from destruction.
Application:
Consider our suffering for the sake of Christ as our great wealth.
Fix our eyes on the invisible God who sees us and our situation.
Have faith in the gospel that saves.

Why do we have to consider our suffering for Christ as our great wealth?
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for considering all our efforts, service, and even suffering for Christ as privileges. It is an honor to forsake all that the world offers for the sake of Christ. If there is worldliness within us, I pray that You remove it. I commit my entire life to You. Help me to see the invisible. Let me be seen as ‘poor’ and ‘foolish’ in the eyes of the world, yet wealthy and wise in Your sight. I pray this in Jesus’ name, amen!
