Growing in Faith and Trust
Teaching:
God is pleased by those who have faith in Him.
God wants to be seen through the eyes of faith.
God rewards those who seek Him.
Application:
Strive to please God by putting our faith in Him.
See God everyday through the eyes of faith.
Seek God and receive His reward.
Discussion:
Why does the Bible say that it is impossible to please God without faith?
Prayer:
Lord, You said in Your Word that You are pleased by those people who have faith in You, and you said that You reward those who earnestly seek You. I pray that You will increase my faith. Let me be a person who truly and fully believe in You. Let me see You through the eyes of faith. Let me encounter You, Lord, by the power of the Holy Spirit. Fill me with Your presence that I may please You in all the things I do and say. I pray this in Jesus’ name, amen!
