The Power and Peace of God
Teaching:
The Lord is King over the flood.
Worship strengthens our faith.
Trusting God’s word gives us peace.
Application:
Trust that God is sovereign over the flood.
Worship God, especially when we are weak and helpless.
Rely on God’s ability to make things happen through His word.
Discussion:
Why do we find strength and peace in God when we worship?
Prayer:
Sovereign Lord, You created everything by just speaking. Your word makes things happen. All of creation obeys Your bidding. You sit enthroned as King over the flood. You control everything. Therefore, I will find strength and peace in You. I worship You, especially when I am weak and helpless. I honor You and love You. I pray this in Jesus’ name, amen!
